The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize novice researcher(s) for his/her dedication to academic excellence, professional development, leadership potential for promoting healthier communities and beginning efforts demonstrating evidence based research and practice. This scholarship will be awarded annually and announced to all members each spring. Amount not to exceed $2000.00
Omicron Delta member (priority),
University of Phoenix current undergraduate, or graduate student in nursing or related curricula
University of Phoenix undergraduate or graduate alumni with a nursing degree or related UOP degree.
Students from another universities may be considered by the Committee
Current GPA of 3.50 verified by transcript, completion of at least 90 credits, holding junior or senior level status or greater.
Request must support project that demonstrates empirical or evidence-based research projects
Statement of Need: Applicant must submit a 200 word, typed, double-spaced, statement of need that give an overview of the project.
